Flud and Timms Continue Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Sooner 600 Week Winning Streaks

Inside Line Promotions – MEEKER, Okla. (June 14, 2019) – It was a different day and a different track, but the results were identical for Frank Flud and Ryan Timms on Friday at Red Dirt Raceway during the third round of the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies Sooner 600 Week.

Flud captured both the Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class main events for the third straight night and Timms did the same in the Restricted ‘A’ Class division.

Flud maneuvered from sixth to claim his eighth NOW600 Series Stock Non-Wing triumph of the season. Timms posted a runner-up result with Daniel Shaffer third, Jared Dunkin fourth and Preston Perlmutter fifth.

Chase Randall, Flud, Kale Drake and Ethan Wicker were the heat race winners. Jarret Hjorth won the B Main.

Flud recorded his 10th NOW600 Series Winged ‘A’ Class win of the season after garnering the pole position for the main event. Randall finished second, Joey Starnes was third, Chase Brown ended fourth and Cole Roberts placed fifth.

Brown, Starnes and Shawn Mahaffey each won a heat race and Owen Carlson was the B Main winner.

Timms earned his fifth straight NOW600 Series Restricted ‘A’ Class victory. Mason Daugherty was the runner up with Brenham Crouch third, Ryder Laplante fourth and Joshua Gentry fifth.

Crouch and Daugherty were the heat race winners.

Round 4 of Sooner 600 Week is Saturday at Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla. General admission tickets are $10 with children ages 6-years-old to 12-years-old only $6. Pit passes are $30. The gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m.
