RESULTS...POINTS from Thunder Up Night at Red Dirt Raceway - Meeker, OK....Brief rundown below...MUCH MORE INFO COMING LATER(so stay tuned)

Thunder Up Night at Red Dirt Raceway - Meeker, OK and FREE bicycle giveaway night were a hoot! We had over 25 bikes donated by drivers, teams, and fans! The giveaway went great and there were 25 REALLY HAPPY kids with new bikes and loads of candy given out by our drivers! Big thanks to everyone who donated and helped out and also a big thanks to Chris Smith for organizing the bicycle giveaway!

The racing was fast and furious as the race track was super tacky lighting quick on a cool Friday night!

Sport Mod action was topped by Rob Bland who advanced from his 6th starting spot! Bland jumped to an early lead but was challenged by Jared Baird in lapped traffic. Ultimately, Bland wouldn't be denied the victory over the super stout field of Sport Modifieds! Baird would cross the line in 2nd, followed by Shawn Jorski, Jeff Rozelle, and Cole Dennis. NOTE: Jared Baird was penalized one spot for not being in line on a restart and there was not another caution to access the penalty so the penalty was accessed at the completion of the race.

Flyin' Ryan Timms was on a mission in micro action last night as he topped both Non-Wing and Restrictor Micros! In the Non-Wing, Timms was followed to the line by Richie Harvey, Justin Patocka, Owen Carlson, and Ryan Sullivan! In the Restrictor, Timms was able to fend off Kayden Cole, Conner Long Racing, Cooper Sullivan, and Karson Wittwer in a fast paced A-Feature!

Noah Boller made the trek back to Red Dirt Raceway - Meeker, OK to compete in the Hornet Car division from his hometown in Beatrice, NE! Boller would pick up his second win of the season on the 1/4 mile oval but not without a might challenge from the "Racing Chapa's" who would finish in second and third with Stephanie Chapa in the 2nd spot and Arron Chapa in the 3rd spot. Hot on their tail was Jeff Wendel followed by Jeremy Lane!

The Pure Stock class was full of action as always as 10th starting Treven Geter was able to navigate to the front of the pack with 9th starting Johnathan Jarvis on his tail for most of the race. A turn 4 bobble by Geter combined with a hard charging Jarvis resulted in slight contact and a change of positions at the line with Jarvis coming out victorious over Geter by .032 seconds! Steven Grimes, Scott Wilson, and "Mr. Consistency" Ben Lewis rounded out the top five!

NEXT RACE... Pure Stock Fight Night - Chapter III with Pure Stocks, Hornet Cars, Sport Modifieds, and Dwarf Cars! Pure Stocks will do single car qualifying on the clock to determine heat starting positions as they run for $500 to win and $75 to start the main event!!!
