If Opening Night - 2019 at Red Dirt Raceway - Meeker, OK was any indication of the racing action for the upcoming season then we are all in for a great year! There was great racing and phenomenal battles in every race which continues to showcase the talent that races at #OurTrack! We wholeheartedly believe that we have the fastest cars and best drivers in this part of the country and we are dang proud to be associated with you all!

Pure Stock action was fast and furious as Scott Wilson swept both his heat race and feature action! Scott was in a race long battle with Johnathan Jarvis, Treven Geter, Ben Lewis, and Justin McBride who went tailback after a mid-race spin and then charged back to a top five finish!

Chris Cochran set a blistering pace in the N.O.W. 600 Weekly Non-Wing Micros while the action heated up behind him with Gunner Bowden, Ryan Timms, Zachary Patterson, and Logan Hill rounding out the top five!

The Hornet Cars seem to have a power struggle to de-throne Stephanie Chapa as newcomer Jeff Wendel(Peter Parker) topped heat race action with Jerry Cantrell giving chase while the youngest racing Chapa(Aaron Chapa) was charging hard in the main event! In the end, Stephanie was able to navigate her way back to the Red Dirt Raceway Winners Circle! This class is slowly building and we can't wait until there is a track full of HORNET CARS!

Jared Baird went for the clean sweep by topping his heat race and then besting 22 other drivers to win the Sport Modified main event and pocket a cool $500 cash! Baird had a few challenges as the Sport Modified feature had battles from one end of the track to the other! Rounding out the top five was 15th starting Don Reid, Jerry Colby, Tate Butler, and a hard charging Zach Nickell who worked his way up from 13th to 5th!

Steven Shebester was in "Full Send Mode" selling T-shirts on the high side of the 1/4 mile oval in USAC Wingless Sprints Oklahoma action on his way to pocketing $750. Shebester also won $500 additional bonus money from Dagwell Dixie Co Inc and Jett Starr for sweeping his heat race, dash for cash, along with the main event! Shebester was followed to the line by Layne Himebaugh Racing, Andrew Deal, Brett Wilson, and a 17th to 5th charge by Johnny Kent.

NEXT RACE: This Friday, April 12th is Gamblers Night - Double Money in All Classes for Pure Stocks, Sport Mods, Hornet Cars, and Dwarf Cars(Draw in and passing points will be utilized again this week and the high point driver in each class has the "option" of starting tail-back and racing for DOUBLE MONEY!)....Non-Wing Micros will be off this week.
