MEEKER, Okla. (March 26, 2018) - After two weeks of racing, and a weekend off, Red Dirt Raceway returns to Friday night racing this week.
Highlighting the night will be the season opener for the USAC sanctioned Wingless Sprints of Oklahoma. This series has created a lot of interest around the state and a good field of competitors are expected for the first show under the USAC banner.
Friday’s show is the first of five USAC wingless sprint shows scheduled for Red Dirt Raceway in 2018.
Sport Modifieds, Pure Stocks and Hornets will be racing in their first points race of the season.
Gates will open at 6 p.m. Friday. Drivers meeting is at 7:10 and racing getting underway at 8.
General admission is $15 for adults and kids under 54” tall are FREE.
Red Dirt Raceway is located on state highway 18 between Chandler and Shawnee. Exit I-44 at Chandler and follow highway 18 south. From I-40 take the highway 18 exit and head north through Meeker.
