DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (October 9, 2017) - The touring titans of the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Series presented by MyRacePass are set to return to action this Saturday and Sunday with the series final appearance to Red Dirt Raceway for the inaugural Meeker 500.
The spotlight will be placed on the Winged A-Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class this weekend.
Saturday night will follow standard NOW600 National Series format with Drivers drawing for heat race positions and passing points used to determine the feature events. Pay out will follow day one purse structure.
The Top 10 in Saturday’s A-Main will lock themselves into Sunday’s pole shuffle. Pole shuffle will be dirty draw style.
Sunday afternoon will be a new complete show for the drivers that did not lock in. 33 cars will start each A-Main event. A-Class will run 40 laps in their $1,000 to win / $100 to start feature event and Restricted will battle it out for 30 Laps in their $500 to win / $60 to start feature. Each A-Main on Sunday will start 3-Wide!
RACEceiver are Mandatory in all NOW600 Series event, in the event a driver is caught not wearing a RACEceiver they will be disqualified.
On Sunday, Westhold Transponders are MANDATORY! If you do not have one you must rent one from the track.
Frank Flud currently leads the Winged A-Class National Championship standings with an 85-point advantage over Hank Davis. Jason McDougal currently sits in the third spot with Daison Pursley and Avery Goodman rounding out the Top 5.
In Restricted ‘A’ Class National Standings, Daison Pursley leads Ryder Laplante by 49-points. Kale Drake is third with Chase Randall and Dylan Pendergrass holding down the top five.
Saturday’s action will kick off at 6PM. Hotlaps are scheduled for 5:30PM and Drivers Meeting at 4:45PM.
Sunday action will start two hours earlier with the green flag scheduled to drop at 4PM. Hotlaps at 3:30PM and Drivers Meeting at 2:45PM.
Tickets both nights are $10 with Kids 10 & Under: Free. Pit passes are $30.
The series will hold the draw directly after the drivers meeting and it will close after the last driver present at the meeting has drawn in. If any driver is running late he or she should call Series Director Terry Mattox at 918-417-0624.
