DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (June 26, 2017) - Sitting just 48 miles south of the headquarters of the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 Micro Series presented by MyRacePass lays a 1/4 mile red dirt oval that has seen one sanctioned event contested so far in both series and track history.
Meeker, Oklahoma's Red Dirt Raceway will now host a two-day event dubbed, the "Meeker 500" featuring a never before seen micro sprint extravaganza for the series National Winged A-Class and Restricted 'A' Class divisions on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15.
The Meeker 500 will kick off on Saturday night will follow normal Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Series format with the Top 8 in Saturday night's Main Event locking into Sundays Meeker 500 event.
Sunday evenings event will be a new complete show for the drivers that did not lock into the Meeker 500 from Saturday. Drivers will draw and passing points will be utilized for Main Event starting spots. The Top 8 along with Sunday nights Heat Winners will re-draw for their starting positions in the 33-car 40 Lap A-Class and 30 Lap Restricted feature event.
Here is the twist: Sunday evenings Main Events will start 3-Wide! 11 rows of 3 for the 33-car Main Events in both classes!
A-Class will be running for $200 to win and $30 to start on Saturday in the 20-car Main Event. Sunday evening will pay $1000 to win and $100 start. NO TRACK ENTRY FEE! Just $10 Series Draw Fee each night!
Restricted will run for $500 to win and $75 to start their Main Event on Sunday with Saturday night paying $150 to win and $30 to start. NO TRACK ENTRY FEE! Just $10 Series Draw Fee each night!
Meeker 500 Tune Up is Friday, September 15 for the Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Series.
